Heads Up!

I know, it's Thursday.  But I just want to give you a heads up for tomorrow's post.  I will be sharing our Irish soda bread recipe since Saturday is St. Patrick's Day.  The one thing that you may not have on hand is buttermilk.  If you're out shopping, pick up a carton so you can enjoy some delicious bread with your corned beef and cabbage and mint chocolate chip cupcakes!

And if you happen to have a Safeway nearby, they have corned beef on sale for $1.99/lb. through Saturday.  Cabbage and red potatoes are also on sale for $0.39/lb. or a 5-lb. bag of potatoes for $1.79 (also through Saturday).  And pork loin assorted chops in the extreme value pack are BOGO, making them about $1.50/lb!
