Happy New Year to all our Near to Nothing readers! We here at Sumiko's house rung in the New Year at home with Dad's
bean dip (using
homemade refried beans), Uno, and nail painting. Yesterday we held our annual open house. By the end of the day, we had about 50 people and a few dogs come through our house to enjoy sushi, teriyaki chicken, tempura, and chashu. Consequently, this Monday morning sneaked up on me and I do not have my post ready. But be sure to come back tomorrow as I will be posting our New Year's tempura recipe!! It is definitely worth the wait!
